Ideas for Celebrating Children's Day
It may be a surprising news to you that Children's Day is originated from 70 years ago! In 1949, Women's International Democratic Federation held a meeting concerning on children in Moscow. In order to promote and defend such ideas as protecting children's rights, anti-abusing children and anti-poisoning children, the universal Children's Day was proposed and available then.
In fact, different regions or countries are celebrating Children's Day on different dates. For example, Korea and Japan celebrate on the 5th of May, Singapore on the 1st of October, while Hong Kong on the 4th of April - Children's Day is even a public holiday in Korea and Taiwan!
