Brand protection, Trademark Prosecution and IP Portfolio Management
- Advised on and conducted IP clearance, portfolio management (trademark and patent), surveillance and gap filings, include expansion to metaverse and protection of interests in NFTs
- Advised on availability and registrability of trademarks and successfully prosecuted trademarks initially rejected on absolute and/or relative grounds
- Handled trademark opposition, non-use cancellation/revocation and invalidation proceeding, assisted in handling unfair competition litigation
Enforcement and Counterfeiting
- Prepared cease-and-desist letters and advised on enforcement strategies, successfully ceasing sales of infringing products and online display of infringing materials
- Prepared domain name complaints and successfully regained domain names from squatters and former business partners
