My son has been taking lessons with Tommy for a few months now. He loves his classes and looks forward to them. And we can hear him get better with each session. He is motivated and practices regularly on his own which I'm sure also helps!
Tommy was incredibly patient with our first time trombone learner. He had a very positive attitude and was encouraging for my child to keep trying even though it was completely new. Tommy was extremely organized with scheduling, sending calendar and call invites. He made it very simple. I would highly recommend him as a music teacher.
Tommy was very passionate and knowledgeable teaching my daughter french horn. He is very patient and his lesson is very helpful.

Tommy is not only a wonderful trombone musician …. he is equally a great trombone teacher. He has a skilled way of expressing concepts around HOW to play technically and musically. He's patient and keeps things moving along week to week. Highly recommended!!!
During the last 6 months, Tommy has been a wonderfully patient, kind, and knowledgeable teacher to my 12 year-old son. He focused on my son's particular needs and provided lessons he put together to focus on areas to improve his skills. Moreover, Tommy is a talented musician, with the skill and experience to teach any level of trombone. I am very glad I chose Tommy to mentor my son in trombone.

While teaching, Tommy uses many analogies that help me better understand what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it.

我雖然從零開始學，但是老師他也能跟著我的步伐悉心教我。每堂，他都會評論我的字和示範寫幾個字。他的評論中肯而且直指我的字的錯處，但是他也不忘讚我的字的好處和鼓勵我堅持寫。在這短短一年內我對書法和中國文化的了解加深了很多，而且變得有能力寫一些我滿意的作品。
