Introduction
Reggae Siu Yiu-cheung is a multidisciplinary artist and educator with over two decades of transformative experience in locally-rooted, cross-cultural arts. As Founder and Artistic Director of Studio1117 (formerly Mu-nien Space), he has cultivated a distinctive practice spanning ceramics, SAORI weaving, Nagomi Pastel art, Sogetsu ikebana, performance art, and community-based creative initiatives. His passion lies in unlocking creative potential and fostering genuine inclusion through art—designing and facilitating workshops that welcome participants of all ages and abilities. Holding a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University, Reggae has refined his craft through intensive training in Japan and New Zealand. His curatorial vision has shaped acclaimed exhibitions including "Weave the Wild, Cherish the Yarn" and "SEAM," while his sustained partnerships with the Hong Kong Arts Development Association for the Disabled (HKADA), Hong Kong Society for Education in Art (HKSEA), Community Cultural Development Centre (CCCD), schools, and rehabilitation centres reflect his unwavering commitment to accessible, barrier-free arts education for every community.
