Music Club H.K.U.S.U., the first musical organisation that ever existed in the University of Hong Kong, was established in 1949. Activities like instrumental courses, in-campus gigs, band shows, singing contest and annual performance are held by the club every year to promote music to every HKU student.

Permeation of mainstream music in daily life confines us in a single-genre monopoly. Yet, musical genres also include rock and roll, classical music, jazz, folk, R&B, metal and core, and a lot more. Variety is what fills the void and we believe all these kinds of music need to be spread and respected. We hope YOU could break away from the monopoly and dig deeper into different genres, discovering YOUR own life-long muse.
