Saint Honore Cake Shop Limited and its subsidiaries manufacture, distribute and sell bakery products through its own retailing operations in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Macau. Currently, there are over 100 stores in the Saint Honore Cake Shop chains in these markets.

The first Saint Honore Cake Shop was opened at the Happy Valley, Hong Kong in 1972. Saint Honore Cake Shop established its first store in Macau in 1992 and opened its first store in Guangzhou ten years later.

To cope with the expanding business and increasing production demand, Saint Honore invested in a highly automated production line for bread and cake products in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong in 1993. In 1995, a state-of-the-art food production centre on an even larger scale was set up in Shenzhen.

After a few decades of healthy business growth, the Saint Honore Holdings Limited was successfully listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in November 2000, and became the first cake shop chain business to be publicly listed.

In 2007, Saint Honore Holdings Limited was acquired by Convenience Retail Asia Limited and subsequently privatized; thus became a member of Fung Retailing (formerly Li & Fung Retailing).

Saint Honore Cake Shop was the first cake shop chain in Hong Kong to be awarded the ISO 9001 and HACCP food safety accreditation, well-deserved recognitions of its consistently stringent quality control and high standard of food hygiene.

Saint Honore Cake Shop Limited was the winner of the Hong Kong Retail Management Associations Service and Courtesy Award in 2009 in the Food Shops Category for the Junior-Level Frontline staff.
