He will adjust the course content according to the students' progress, such as arranging auxiliary fingering exercises, making the class process easy and stress-free. He is very patient and his teaching method is effective. Even though I don't practice much, I can now play some pieces. Anthony will explain different music theories based on the playing styles that students like, such as different finger shapes and scales. He is a teacher who can chat with you about anything from astronomy to geography, making the class very interesting. He carefully observed the incoordination between my left and right hands and provided suggestions for improvement. His course schedule is very flexible, with the option of taking classes in classrooms in Kwun Tong or Tsuen Wan, and even arranging late night classes. Sometimes he would suggest some interesting pieces to stimulate my interest in learning. The course is great value, with plenty of class time and no corners cut. Anthony is able to provide personalized instruction based on the student's goals and interests, such as playing and singing or performing repertoire. The son wants to learn acoustic guitar and the daughter wants to learn to sing. Later, seeing how well Gary taught, I also started learning electric guitar. Gary not only taught me guitar techniques, but also taught me pop/rock/jazz theory and playing feel. I have more than 20 years of classical background, and I feel that I gain a lot in every class. The children mainly speak English, and Gary is fluent in both languages. Don't worry, leave it to Gary to guide the children.
