I first came across Bitcoin in 2011 but didn't explore further until after listening to a lecture on cryptocurrency at a school fair. I subsequently started doing my own research and quickly realised that Bitcoin stood out as the only truly decentralised cryptocurrency. The more I learn about it, the more miraculous an invention/discovery it seems to be. Whilst many people see Bitcoin as like a high-growth tech stock for short-term gains, I see it as the most important invention of the era, a new hope to fix the world's broken monetary system and a way to safeguard personal wealth during the transition. My aim is to help others see the beauty that is Bitcoin and give them the confidence to safeguard some of their wealth in this way, which in turn would strengthen the Bitcoin network and hopefully further spread knowledge and understanding of it to others.
