Ashton-James Braum McNeilis

Greetings, My name is Ashton-James and I am a TEFL certified Native English Teacher. I have been teaching English to students from top local and international schools in Hong Kong for the past 11 years. (DBSPD, DBS, HKIS, CIS, German Swiss, SIS, VSA, St Paul's College, St Stephen's College, etc.) I specialise in teaching primary and secondary students with a focus in writing, grammar, public speaking and test prep. However, I have experience teaching all aspects of learning English. My writing students have participated and won international writing and poetry competitions, have had their work published in student anthologies and have even published their own books under my guidance. I have also written my own books on writing, vocabulary building and critical thinking, which have been used by teachers in learning centres in Hong Kong. My lessons are engaging, effective and fully customised to each student and his/her strengths, weaknesses and learning goals.
