Cha Wong

Cha Wong has over 10 years of tutoring experience, specializing in subjects including Hong Kong University Law course Criminal Law and Procedure, Hong Kong DSE English, International IELTS, Australian GAMSAT Section 2 Written Communication, and equivalent junior high school mathematics in Hong Kong and Australia.

Cha Wong holds two professions, including being a registered barrister in Hong Kong and a registered solicitor in New South Wales, Australia; and a registered physiotherapist in Hong Kong and Australia.

Cha Wong achieved English A/5* in the HKCEE, and scored in the top 1% in Australian GAMSAT Section 2. During her academic career, Cha Wong received over 15 scholarships. In 2015, she obtained the Hong Kong Government Scholarship for Excellence (HKSES), becoming the first cohort of 'Hong Kong Star', and the Chevening Scholarship from the UK Government, which allowed her to study for a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Securities Law at the London School of Economics (LSE). Cha Wong's related language abilities were also recognized by the NSW Law Society, granting her specific exemptions. In 2017, she received the Bar Association's Chen Cheng Scholarship to further her advocacy skills at one of the four Inns of Court in London, Middle Temple.

Cha Wong previously worked as a prosecutor in the Hong Kong Department of Justice, specializing in serious crimes; she also served as an assistant to judges in the appellate court of the judicial institution, assisting judges in handling cases and conducting legal research, most of which were in English.

Cha Wong frequently travels between Australia and Hong Kong, with her teaching primarily conducted online.
