Mia Tsang

I am a registered teacher in Hong Kong, graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and also completed a master's degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language at CUHK. I have passed the Hong Kong Teacher Putonghua Benchmark Test, and also achieved a level 2A (88.9 points) in the National Language Committee's Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC). I have ten years of teaching experience in Hong Kong secondary schools, having taught Mandarin, Chinese Language, Chinese History, and Chinese Literature, and I am also a private tutor in Mandarin and Cantonese. Furthermore, the secondary school students I guided have won the championship in the Mandarin group at the "Hong Kong Inter-school Recitation Festival." I am currently producing teaching videos for a company that services expatriates in Hong Kong, offering them for download to its members, using Mandarin as the language of instruction, introducing local expressions, and explaining related culture. I possess rich teaching experience in both Cantonese and Mandarin, and the adult students I have taught come from various fields including finance, insurance, real estate, hospitality, and retail, holding positions ranging from senior management, human resources, frontline services, to sales. I understand the learning difficulties of my students and can provide the most suitable teaching materials according to individual needs. In addition to one-on-one private tutoring, I also offer group classes and internal training for companies to meet the academic or professional needs of various students, and assist them in achieving their expected learning goals in a short period.
