Toby is providing COVID-19 test sample pick-up service to help Hong Kong fight against the pandemic. To reduce community transmission, test samples will be picked up from your home and delivered to designated clinics under the Department of Healthy or the Public Health Laboratory Centre.

Department of Health Test Sample Pick-up

[Applicable to: Home Confinees, and testings provided by the Department of Health] Courier will pick up the test sample from the client's home and deliver to the clinic or laboratory specified by the Department of Health

Private Medical Institution Test Sample Pick-up (non-compulsory testing)

[Applicable to: Participants who tested by private healthcare facilities, laboratories, non-compulsory participants] The courier will arrive at your home to collect the specimen and deliver it to a designated healthcare facility or laboratory

Please have specimen ready according to DoH instructions on pick-up day.
You will receive a call reminder 15 minutes before pick-up time.

FAQ

Can I submit a same day pick-up request?

Sorry to inform you that we are unable to handle same day pick-up request. Order cut-off time is 5:00 pm of the day before the actual pick-up date. Orders made after the daily cut-off time will be delivered on the second day.

How much does the Department of Health Test Sample pick-up service cost?

Each scheduled pick-up (within Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, and New Territories) charges a flat fee of $100HKD. Remote areas are subject to additional fees.

For Mid-levels, Braemar Hill, Pokfulam, Cyberport, Ma On Shan, Tung Chung: +HKD50

For Victoria Peak, Stanley, Shek O, Deep Water Bay, Repulse Bay, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung, Kam Tin: +HKD100

The system will automatically include the additional service fee when a customer is placing an order for the above addresses. 

How much does the Private Medical Institution Test Sample Pick-up service cost?

Each scheduled pick-up (within Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, and New Territories) charges a flat fee of $150HKD. Remote areas are subject to additional fees.

How many test samples can be included with each scheduled pick-up?

Each scheduled pick-up can include up to 4 test samples. There will be no additional fees for this.

How do I know when a courier will come and collect my sample(s)?

If your order has been successfully matched, you will receive a text message or an email notification. Please note that the actual pick-up time varies depending on the traffic and schedule. You will be informed 30mins before the courier's arrival.

When should I leave a specimen sample?

Please leave your sample in accordance with the guidelines of the Department of Health. A sample should be prepared in the morning of the delivery day, and must be before brushing your teeth and/or eating. After preparing your sample, please ensure the cap of the sample bottle is tightened. Then, place it in the designated plastic bag before sealing it.

If your address is not on the above list but also out of our delivery zone, we will contact you to cancel after the order is placed.

Can I reschedule the service after booking?

Yes. If you need to change the date and time after placing the order, please kindly notify us at least 1 day in advance for the service arrangement.

If the service time and date are requested to changed after the driver is assigned, your will be charged a $50 surcharge.

Can I cancel the service after booking?

The service fee is non-refundable.
