His course schedule is very flexible, with the option of taking classes in classrooms in Kwun Tong or Tsuen Wan, and even arranging late night classes. Sometimes he would suggest some interesting pieces to stimulate my interest in learning. The course is great value, with plenty of class time and no corners cut. I'm so lucky to have such an insightful teacher! Originally, I was looking for a guitar teacher for my son and daughter. The son wants to learn acoustic guitar and the daughter wants to learn to sing. Later, seeing how well Gary taught, I also started learning electric guitar. Gary not only taught me guitar techniques, but also taught me pop/rock/jazz theory and playing feel. I have more than 20 years of classical background, and I feel that I gain a lot in every class. The children mainly speak English, and Gary is fluent in both languages. Don't worry, leave it to Gary to guide the children. They have made rapid progress, from not knowing how to play to now being confident and happy in playing! Learning guitar is highly recommended!
