I'm so lucky to have such an insightful teacher! Originally, I was looking for a guitar teacher for my son and daughter. The son wants to learn acoustic guitar and the daughter wants to learn to sing. Later, seeing how well Gary taught, I also started learning electric guitar. Gary not only taught me guitar techniques, but also taught me pop/rock/jazz theory and playing feel. I have more than 20 years of classical background, and I feel that I gain a lot in every class. The children mainly speak English, and Gary is fluent in both languages. Don't worry, leave it to Gary to guide the children.
